Fatigue is a common symptom of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). Here are some tips that might help manage it:

1. Medication Review: Consult your doctor or pharmacist to see if any of your medications might be contributing to your fatigue. They might adjust the dosage or timing.

2. Nutrition and Supplements: Ensure you're getting enough nutrients, especially vitamins A, D, E, and K. Consult your doctor before taking any supplements.

3. Light Therapy: Using a light therapy box (10,000 lux) in the morning might improve sleep and reduce daytime sleepiness.

4. Short Naps: A 20-minute power nap can boost your energy without interfering with nighttime sleep.

5. Exercise: Gentle activities like walking or using an indoor exercise bike can help. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise routine.

6. Social Support: Connecting with others who have PBC can provide emotional support and practical advice.

If your fatigue is worsening, it's important to discuss this with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

Yes, mine was removed 4 years ago. No complications for me. Surgeon was aware of my PBC, but we were not aware I had progressed to cirrhosis. He did a biopsy during the gallbladder removal and confirmed cirrhosis. I was initially diagnosed with PBC 24 years ago.
