Stick to your diet plan. But your allowed a little Holiday “Be good to yourselves”. But then after the holidays are over with “Jump back” into your plan. But above all take it one day at a time!

It's a challenge. I allow myself a few small indulgences. If we are home, I cook more simple dinners, for example rolls, or potatoes, or stuffing, but not all 3. I make a fruit crisp in a small pan, so it will be finished quickly. Green beans are my go to vegetable, rather than corn. I either roast a chicken or a turkey breast.

Wow never heard of PBC being connected to enzymes or admitted it was. When I researched PBC in the beginning i kept coming across leaky gut could be involved with the autoimmune. DONT FORGET... I read (check it out) dark chocolate 70% 80% is great for the liver! I can get used to it! Better than nothing. 😀

I give myself a slither of treats, I limit the carbs, and make my favorite veggies so I can over load on it and to feel full. If I'm full I will less likely mess up.

Marla, Very good information. Your Liver is the top of your Digestive system so we forget that when we talk about our symptoms. Diet has become a large obstacle for all of us that have Liver disease for a variety of reasons. I’ve had to quit eating Gluten, Lactose, Lettuce. So yes your diet is a large issue.
