Hi have you had your vitamin D checked? With PBC our liver doesn’t absorb it. This could be also from bones hurting. I’ve been through that. Have you tried prescription Voltran? I do have arthritis and it does help down to the bone. Hope this helps.

I just had a bone scan last week--still waiting on results...I don't get much help from doctors on pain/symptom relief--no matter what it is. I take Advil-even though we're not supposed to. But for crying out loud I need something. Tylenol doesn't do squat--a tic tac candy would do a better job than tylenol! I hope you find some answers & relief! Hugs!

Here’s some info I found online about Therapain:

Therapain is a natural pain block. Most nerves can only transmit one signal at any given time. When a another sensation (Therapain) contacts the nerve, an ‘amnesic’ effect cancels the message of pain going to the brain. Because there is no numbing, or drowsy side effects the concern or re-injury to an existing condition is eliminated. The initial cold feeling of Therapain acts as a cold pack, and would be followed in ten minutes by a warming feeling (similar to a heat pad). Because the nerves are confused, this feeling is sometimes described as a ‘tingly’ sensation. The effects of Therapain can last for several hours depending on the severity of the condition, and the amount of Therapain applied. The more that is applied, the stronger the effect (which means that Therapain can reach many deep seated pains). The strength is also increased when applied after a warm bath due to the opening of the skin’s pores, making them more receptive. Add a few sprays to a hot bath, or a foot soak.

I find Therapain helps with pain. You can get it in a spray or stick
