I used to be 5"2" and now am 4"8" due to hunching over because of the pain in my back...I asked my liver doctor for spinal bone replacement and she said I am too old...I am 74 years old

Rosemarie, I am terribly sorry. I know insurance can really limit us. Is there any alternative doctor in the plan? I feel frustrated for you. 74 isn't old and constant pain should be necessary for any age. Is physical therapy an option? I know it sounds counterintuitive, but I've gotten some good results from PT.

Sheila if I "take it any easier" I would never walk again...I live in a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom mobile home and it is small...maybe 20 steps to the bathroom and 15 steps into the kitchen...and after each trip to the bathroom or kitchen I have to sit down at my computer to straighten out my back...I am in pain 24/7 except when sitting down...and I only have Kaiser Permanente so I have to go with what they say they can and CAN NOT DO...

Rosemarie I don't think you to old . Iam 69 just had 3 disks done .. And my friend is 74 and had her back done. You just gotta take it easier then when you was younger. I would ask a orthopedic Dr
.Sending hugs

No it does not Rosemarie. My Dr just took me out of PT. For my disks surgery. I set up to go to pain management. Next month. Sending you hugs and Prayers 🤗💚

PT does NOT fix bones...only replacing the bones will take away the pain!!
