I gave up drinking beer and wine right away. Some non alcholic beers aren't too bad. In the absense of any symptoms and improving blood work I didn't change my diet too much until gallbladder surgery prompted major changes. I eat a basically low fat diet now. An h pylori infection in Dec also forcrd me to make better choices which should help keep PBC at bay for awhile.. I take Urso 600 twice daily.
I have been trying to reduce inflammation by eating a lower carb diet. I try super hard to not eat anything with sugar or white flour. My inflammation markers have been super crazy. They are still high, but reduced alot.
