My mother had sarcoidosis and osteoporosis and high blood pressure. She was never diagnosed with PBC, however I wonder, is PBC a thing that is passed down in family genes? I have PBC Osto and high blood pressure. I was just diagnosed 3 months ago, so do not know alot about it, trying to find out all I can. My doctor is fantastic and is always there for me

Hi Stephanie, I have Vitiligo, atrophic gastritis and 2 others. Gallbladder removed in 2019 which is what has lead to PBC as my newest diagnosis as the pain never went away... From the outside, people cannot tell. But I feel like a trainwreck inside and my joints hurt alot.

So far no other organs involved for me. As for other autoimmune disorders I am HLA-b27 positive, I am being treated for Nr-AxSpa, basically it means axial spondylosis that is not showing up on imaging. I have degenerative discs, osteoarthritis in back, SI joints, and fingers with a strong family history of autoimmune disorders including Ankylosing Spondylitis, RA, and psoriatic arthritis. My daughter tests positive for AMA but so far no elevated liver enzymes.
