Ursodiol And Bowel Blockage
Had or have bowel blockage have concerns
I take a daily stool softener, but before I was diagnosed with PBC I had to have a colon resection so I don't know if that added to my issues. Taking the stool softener helps.
I’m so sorry you’re having concerns of that nature Ellen. I haven’t exeperiences anything like that. That’s definitely a concern to bring to your doctors attention and the sooner the better

Could bowel blockage be associated with PBC or ursodiol?
Ursodiol can cause rare but serious side effects, including enteroliths (stone-like mineral buildup) in people who are at risk for intestinal stenosis (partial obstruction at the center of the intestine) or stasis (when the stomach takes too long to empty). This Show Full Answer
