I never ever eat raw seafood. That’s what started this whole thing for me. I had clams on the half shell in 1997 which led to food poisoning which ended in me being admitted to the hospital and having numerous blood tests and a liver biopsy. I had PBC then but, the official diagnosis didn’t come till 2017. You can eat seafood just make sure it’s cooked thoroughly. If in doubt, don’t eat it!! That’s my advice from a woman who’s been dealing with this for 27 years along with 4 other autoimmune diseases.
