I'm most likely going to need my gallbladder removed. It's got a 10mm polyp (it was 2mm ten months ago) which apparently is max size before it blows up the gallbladder. I've been trying to keep my gallbladder for 30 years. Since dx with PBC 2023 it's been down hill. So I was thinking have the biopsy done during the gallbladder surgery? Haven't talked to my surgeon I'm being referred to yet. That's in 2 weeks. I'm 74... yikes!

I've had 2 and the pain isn't to terrible. I had a trans jugular liver biopsy in September and went to work the next day. Please rest it does get easier dealing with countless blood work and surgeries, but we are warriors!

Oh wow. I haven't heard about that. They are going to want to do a biopsy on me... I'm interested in answers to your question too.

No, maybe a little tender in the area, but not severe pain

I did not. Maybe call the doctor or his nurse?
