Ask your doctor for a bone mineral density scan. After several months of pain, I asked my doctor for a bone scan. Turns out I have osteoporosis, which we're at higher risk for with PBC.
I have the muscle and joints pain also..
Holly, I too was diagnosed with Osteoporosis , and was put on a supplement to help. I get a new scan in a few weeks to see if itβs helping .
