I Was Wondering If Anyone Could Tell Me About Their Experience On Having A Liver Biopsy, I Am Scheduled Soon For One.
Thank you so much
It was not bad. Mine was CT guided. They did the imaging and then taped a steel rod to my side in the area where he was going to do the biopsy. I went back into the CT to make sure of placement. I felt the injection to numb the area but after that there was no pain. It was over very quickly. I had to lie on my right side for 2 hrs afterwards and that was the hard part. I hope the procedure goes well for you.
I had a biobsy about two years ago. It was c-scan guided and did not hurt of cause much discomfort. It took about an hour.
It wasn't bad they couldn't give me anything for the pain cause my blood pressure drop. But it was ultrasound place would they took it from. Was over before I knew it. Didn't hurt at all the next day. But I had the sweetest nurses and staff doing mines. .
Have Any One Else. Heard That Even On URSO .. And Your Liver Enzymes Is Normal Again. Don't Mean The PBC Isn't Progressing..
Does The Drug Urodisol Help? I'm Skeptical To Take It Because Of The Side Effects.
My Liver Doctor Said I Was Too Old To Get A Liver Transplant...I Am 74 Soon To Be 75...she Said It Was Too Dangerous For Me
