Thank you. Lotions do not help for long so take claratin which does seem to help. Think I will try coconut oil

You can get a lotion applicator from Amazon that is made to reach your back area for when you don't have help. Run a humidifier to keep moisture in the air of your house. Especially with the heat on during the winter. My doctor prescribed something for the itching. Works great! Only use unscented lotions. A shower oil is helpful. Apply after shower and then layer your lotion on top. Vani-cream is my lifesaver!

I order Cera Ve itch relief and put it all over my body...I have a friend who comes over to help me shower and get dressed again and she puts the CeraVe on my back cause that is where I itch a lot and can't scratch but it does itch a lot...and also on my arms where I get the black and blue bruises
