My doctor at a Liver Clinic said she had 700 PBC patients and never heard anyone say their back hurt from Urso. But if there is a 1 in 10 stat, I'm the 1, too. My lower right side of my back aches. I've changed shoes in case it was some gait issue, flipped the mattress and now have a 'grounding sheet' on my bed and still it aches. But when I stopped taking Urso (thought I was to switch to Ocaliva so I stopped Urso but I was actually to take both), my back stopped aching.

There’s a Copay Assistance program that you can contact & if you qualify, pay nothing. So far I’ve only had 1copay of $50. Not sure how long that will last. I found it thru Accredo, the mail order pharmacy who provides the Ocaliva. The whole situation is crazy.
